Hosting

Very sad to say that today I did not take any pictures.
I actually was looking my best.
I thought about it plenty of times, but so many things ran through my head today, it was impossible to remember everything.
Today I had my very first debut.
Yes!
My first MK party.
I hosted a party and my friend demonstrated the products
and taught me how to deliver a class.
It was amazing.
I baked brownies, made pink lemonade
and
decorated my house.
Although not everyone who was invited showed,
the important ones came
and I know the others will come soon.
It was an awesome feeling.
Can't wait to do it again!!

Celebrating

This father's day I spent it with a little man
that in August will turn 2
but in doggie world, that means the beginning of teen years.
This little man has been through many ups and downs
and no matter what, he strives for our family's happiness.
In the course of his lifetime,
he was responsible for the creation of 4 beautiful healthy pups.
Wherever you are little babies,
I hope you know you have a wonder pops.
Happy Father's Day !

Tanning

Today we decided to get together
and not do any type of hygiene related things.
YES!
We caught some rays,
Grilled some burgers,
Ate some chips,
and
Drank some wine.
One of us ever became a bartender and made us
DP and Rum
and
Spike'd Lemonade
;)
Today was a good day.

Life's too short to sit in the shade.

a-cHooo!

Gaming

I believe that one of the most boring sports to watch has to be baseball.
Marlins had the lead for 8 innings.
No team made any new homeruns until the very last inning and we lost by one.
Good news is Lakers won and now there will be a game 7
Yay Finals!
As for soccer,
it will continue to be the most exciting game to watch in my book.
I'm going for USA and they are trying very hard...
but overall
BRA-ZIL!

Passing

After graduation passed, I was still not able to practice dental hygiene.
I first needed to get my license in order to start looking for a job.
Anywho, to get this license, you need to do a series of exams.
Three multiple choice question related exams that included
laws, patient cases, and theoritical dental hygiene questions.
Another exam you must take is a
clinical exam that you must present a patient with the given requirements
and perform a dental cleaning on them.
Before this weekend,
I had completed the first 3 exams and passed them all without having to retake them.
This clinical exam was a big nerve wrecking test!
Looking for a patient was so much time consuming...
The patient was always too light,
OR
 too heavy
OR
the patient qualified BUT his/her schedule didn't compliment the date of my exam.
I screened over 10 patients and finally found one.
The day of the test, because of my beautiful nerves,
I almost walked out and accepted to fail.
But a couple of deep breaths and a positive patient later,
I was able to send my nerves to hell and complete the exam.
Of course I could have picked up my results the day after I took the exam,
but I was out celebrating my birthday and didn't quite make it on time to the site.
So two days later, my hygiene peeps and I went together to receieve the enevelopes containing our preliminary scores.
The results were shocking...
It's upseting to have to say not all my friends received a passing score.
Believe me, I felt very depressed.
But someone once posted:
"Progress has little to do with speed, but much to do with direction."
I hope they know they can count on me for full support.
Everything happens for a reason.
What's meant to be, will eventually find its way.
This 22nd birthday I received one of the greatest gifts I can ever give myself.
I gave myself the career I wanted.
All the hardships have sailed and success is now in full navigation.
Happy 22nd birthday to me!
May it continue to bring me success

Trusting

“God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry its weight.”
-Reggie White

There is a reason why I have a lot of patience...
and a reason why the silliest things happen to just me.I believe it is because He knows what I can and cannot handle.I was one of the very last students to get a qualified patientI didn't have enought time to sterilize my instrumentsI was not sure if I had certain documents needed for orientation
But now I sit here and I think.... what if this was happening to someone else?
They will have a heart attack.
They wouldn't be able to take the exam because they are busy trying to make their heart beat again.
But I'm okay...
I know there is a reason for everything
and atlast,
everything is finalized and ready for tomorrow to happen.
I truly can't wait.

Reuniting ii

It turns out I've been searching for a board patient for over 2 months now.
In 2 days I take my exam and I cannot present it without a patient.
Panic?
No! I didn't panic.
Instead I went out and got some fresh air...
of course horrid thoughts still cramped my mind, but that didn't stop me from having a little bit of fun.
I reunited with some highschool peeps.
Can you believe because of a boy, this girl thought I would kick her butt?
Highschool...
so much drama and so little time.
Although there was a lot of times I hated school,
I'm glad I can kick it with the peeps and reminisce on some good old times.
I did do some screenings on a couple of people buttt I know my patient will come to me tomorrow.
I just know it.
It's in my vibes.

Wandering

"Not all those who wander are lost."
J.R.R. Tolkien

Sometimes its better to get your girls and ride in a car and don't know where to head to.
Getting lost is not an option because there is no destination to get to.
Nothing in your bag but a bathing suit and make up.
Landed in Boyton Beach and had some Sonic,
then headed to Orlando stayed the night
and explored Wet 'n Wild the next day.
Of course on our way back home had to stop for some Sonic again.
What a Memorial Day Weekend.
Of course got home and made the toilet my best friend because I pigged out on so much fried food.
I'm taking that as a motivation to once again lose some pounds.
With the cruise and now Sonic, I have gained some and that is no good for the summer.
Let's hope I stay determined.
:)
